Getting Started

Welcome to DataMap, your first step towards exploring and understanding our comprehensive data platform. In this guide, we will walk you through our basic functionalities and operation processes.


Connect Your Account

First, you need to connect your account through the Keplr wallet extension.

  1. Visit the DataMap homepage.
  2. Click on the "Connect" button in the top right corner.
  3. Choose the "Keplr" wallet extension to connect.

You can find the detailed steps on the Connect page.


DataMap allows you to search for datasets, accounts, transactions, and blocks.

  1. Log in to your DataMap account.
  2. On the homepage, click on the "Data Search" option.
  3. Enter the keyword you want to search for in the search box.
  4. Your results will be displayed by relevance in a new window.

SQL Query

DataMap enables you to execute SQL queries.

  1. Log in to your DataMap account.
  2. On the homepage, click on the "SQL Query" option.
  3. Enter your SQL query statement in the provided query box.
  4. Click the "Query" button to execute the statement.

You will see the query results displayed in a new window. For detailed usage, please refer to the SQL Query page.


Blockchain

Our platform integrates blockchain technology to provide higher data security and integrity.

  1. Log in to your DataMap account.
  2. On the homepage, click on the "Blockchain" option.
  3. You can see all your blockchain transactions in the new window.

Data Management

The Data Management module provides multiple sub-modules that allow you to easily manage your data tables and permissions.

  • My Tables: You can create databases and tables using a visual interface and manage them effectively. This sub-module allows you to design the structure of your databases and tables, and perform various operations on them.
  • My Grants: You can grant access to other addresses for the tables and databases created by your current logged-in address. With this sub-module, you can specify the address and access level for granting permissions, enabling other users to view and interact with your data.
  • Granted to me: This sub-module displays the tables and databases that have been granted access to your current logged-in address. You can view and operate on the data that has been authorized to you by other users.
  • My Data: This sub-module displays all the data associated with your current logged-in address. You can view and manage the tables and databases that you have created, perform actions such as editing, exporting, and more.
